I found out that Crush 40 music is in a small lil genre called "Melodic rock" ^_^ That's prolly why i can never find many sonic-like songs outside of crush 40.....

Ya know how 'Live and learn' and 'Open your heart' Is all Sing-y XD I think it's when the song can be put to any type of music, but it happens to have rock insrtuments....i guess. Too music-y to be considered rock, too happy to be considered heavy metal...its the weird middle ground.

Hang on, I think I know a similar band. It's called "Autopilot Off." They're technically classified as "Alternative," but that's usually where all rock that's not considered "hard" or whatever fall into. I've always compared 'melodic rock' to a choir song; if the harmonies in voices make me think of a choir, I consider it melodic rock.
